STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD TO ADMINISTRATION
February 2009

The Student Advisory Board to Administration is a group of graduate and undergraduate students created to enhance communication with students and the administration about pertinent university issues. The purpose of the board is to give students and the Vice Chancellor for Administration an avenue to exchange ideas; communicate current issues and projects; and to convey these exchanges to the student community and to the Division of Administration. These students may be asked to provide insight/information on such areas that are within the division of Administration, i.e. campus planning, budget, parking, etc. The Board will also be briefed by the Vice Chancellor on administrative issues affecting the Merced campus as well as system-wide administrative issues. The Board will meet during the Fall and Spring semesters.

This board consists of graduate and undergraduate students of the following constituency: 

  • ASUCM appointed undergraduate
  • GSA appointed graduate
  • Other graduate and undergraduate students representing, at a minimum: 
         On-Campus Students
         Off-Campus Students
         International Students
