STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD TO ADMINISTRATION

The Student Advisory Board to Administration is a group of student representatives appointed by the Associated Students of the University of California (ASUCM) and from the Graduate Student Association (GSA). The advisory board is co-chaired by the Vice Chancellor for Business and Administrative Services and the Vice Chancellor for Planning and Budget. The purpose of the student advisory board is to enhance communication with students and the administration about pertinent university issues. It gives students and the vice chancellors an avenue to exchange ideas; communicate current issues and projects; and to convey these exchanges to the student community and the campus administration. These students may be asked to provide insight/information in the areas of campus planning, budget, facilities management, public safetytransportation, design and construction, environmental health and safety, etc. The Board will also be briefed by the vice chancellors on administrative issues affecting the Merced campus as well as system-wide administrative issues. The Board will meet during the Fall and Spring semesters.
